Welcome to Bluff Creek Elementary
The Bluff Creek Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of parents, caregivers, teachers and staff. We work closely with teachers and staff to develop and fund experiences that support, strengthen and enhance the education of BCE students. Plus, we throw some fun events for the entire school community.
Supporting the PTO means you are supporting students and ensuring they have important enrichment opportunities. We welcome all parents and guardians to participate in any way they are able and offer flexible ways to support the PTO and school. Choose the way that works best for you. Here are options to consider:
Attend PTO Meetings
Every parent or caregiver is encouraged to attend monthly PTO meetings. Meetings are held virtually each month at 7:00 PM. Zoom links are sent via email and posted on the meetings page prior to each meeting. Meetings are a great way to stay updated on all things happening at BCE directly from the principal, teachers, district reps, board members and committee chairs.
Join a Committee
There are separate committees that plan and support many of the community-building and fundraising events we hold throughout the year. Learn more about co-chair positions available.
Volunteer at School
Volunteer opportunities are posted here and frequently updated throughout the year. Everything from a one-time shift to regular involvement, we have flexible opportunities to fit any schedule.
Donate
Don't have time to volunteer or attend PTO meetings but want to help? This option is for you! You can donate directly to the PTO or donate while you shop. Your donations help the PTO pay for field trips, school clubs, classroom supplies, playground equipment, books, technology upgrades, music programs, and so much more.
Stay Connected
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date on all things BCE-related. Plus, sign up for the ROAR Report, the PTO's monthly newsletter. You can do this by participating in the Online Directory.
The PTO does not exist without your involvement, we really do need your help. Thank you for the support!

The PTO has an important role to play by continuing to be dedicated to excellence in education for the future of our children. Each year a budget is created and voted on by our Board members. Each year the PTO strives to raise at least enough funds to meet the wish list of the school administration. While fundraising is not our only goal, it is an important aspect of the PTO. In the past, some of the "extras" the PTO has provided or financially supported include:
- Playground and building improvements
- Staff appreciation
- Family Fun Night
- Book fairs
- STEM Fest
- Yearbook
- Roller skating
- Garden
- Teacher grants
- High school scholarships
- Parents' Night Out
